With his unique skill set Matu is an invaluable member of our staff. Although he is currently our cultural advisor, Matu has previously worked as a kapa-haka tutor and as a kaiāwhina. 

For the Taiao Matu primarily runs our Te Ao Māori Personal Development Workshops. However, he can also be found composing, translating and story telling- tasks that are all crucial to the functioning of our organisation. Matu is our person to contact for cultural advice, tangihganga/funerals, blessings, mihi whakatau, translation and composition.
